Frequently asked questions

Huddle is data driven by PHP and MySQL, both solid platforms that are tested and trusted.

How Flexible Is the Layout?
Huddle uses a modular approach for displaying content to the admin and clients. This means that each piece of the tool is considered a separate pod (or pod) that can be loaded, unloaded and moved. This approach is very flexible and allows event presenters to change layouts on-the-fly. The layout adjusts fluidly when resized to accommodate both large and small resolutions.
Each pod has a title bar at the top. This title bar is used to move the pod to different locations. This is done by simply dragging and dropping the pod by “grabbing” it (left-click and holding the mouse pointer) by the title bar.
Some pods contain a button in the far right side of the title bar. This button is an options menu for that pod. This means that if a pod has configurable options then you can modify those by clicking on that button. If you need to hide the menu simply click on the same button again.
How Do I Manage My Huddle Events?
Huddle contains a central location for managing your web events and meetings. This location is referred to as the Huddle dashboard. The dashboard gives you tools for managing events and assets associated with those events.
At the top of the dashboard/My Events page you'll find a set of tabs. These tabs consist of:
- Events
Displays information in subtabs about the events that are pending, active and completed. The Active section shows events that are in progress and includes a link to launch the client console (if you are one of the presenters you will also have a link to launch the admin console). - Create New Event
Loads a form used to create/schedule a new event. - Files
Manage/view the presentation and image files that have been uploaded. - Account
View details specific to the account type. - Presenters
Display and manage users that have presenter rights in the account as well as specify any guest presenter(s) that may help with presentations.
